September '09
What a hectic summer we've had but so much fun. As well as travelling over to Belgium we've covered just about every part of the UK this year competing in England, Scotland and Wales and taking in tournaments in Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire...us Demonz sure do get about!!
It was great to have Dylan back running for the end of the season following his long lay off with his cruciate tear but we just seemed to have one injury after another and struggled to get the 'Speed Demonz' back running together!
We finally managed to pull something together to go sub 18 and win Division One at Sheffield at the beginning of September...just as the season is ending! It does show some hope but we have a lot of work to do over winter. The plan is to do very little competing and concentrate on training.
Pip and Dottie were presented with their Gold Awards this month and Mac with his Platinum, we should have a couple more awards to come over winter as the BFA points are brought up to date.
10th June
Wow...well we've been away on a 16 day long flyball tour down to Cambridgeshire and over in Belgium at the EuropeanFlyball Championships and just had the BEST time ever!

4th May
We ran at Drax over the bank holiday weekend where the Racers won division two and the Pawz came 3rd in Div 5. Teal and Drake both also earned rosettes running in multibreed with the Rotherham teams!
11th April
We took the decision not to run as the 'Speed Demonz' again until both Dylan and Faith are back running later in the year so ran the Racers and Pawz at Rotherham and Anglesey. Both teams ran well and we had a great time!
Teal earned her Advanced award
25th February
Following the introduction of new height rules on the 1st January our teams will all now be running over lower hurdles. Drake is now a 12" height dogs, Teal and Squirrel will run 8" and Lexie, Dottie and Faith will now become a height dogs too, running 13"
We had a month off in January but the team were out competing again at the new Stocksbridge venue in Sheffield over the weekend. Due to inury and absences we just ran one hastily cobbled together team, the dogs ran well and everyone enjoyed themselves which is what it's all about
Unfortantely we have Dylan out with a cruiate tear which is going to see him miss most of the upcoming season
. As an integral part of our first team this is obviously going to affect us this year but we're hoping he's going to make a full recovery and be back running again soon. Fingers crossed! Our weekly training sessions begin again this week...not long to go 'til the start of the outdoor season and the European Championships...better pull our fingers out!!
7th December
It was our last flyball comp of the year as we headed over to the Northern Racing College at Doncaster. The Demonz were seeded 6th in a 7 team Div One and exceeded all our expectations by winning!!
9th November
Well, you could say we had a pretty good day at Selby yesterday. Our first indoor tournament of the season, running both the Demonz and Racers in Division One with just the 4 of us and an army of brilliant volunteers from other teams
A rather unexpected but impressive result with the Demonz coming 1st and the Racers coming 2nd!! We were unbeaten in Div One all day!
The Pawz ran a new fastest ever time of 19.71 in division Two. Of the 5 fastest teams of the day, 3 of them were ours!
Faith picked up her graduate award, Dottie finally picked up her silver and Frostie got his Pearl! Yay!
1st November
Speed Demonz are #3 seed in the UK!!
Go Demonz!!!!!
